explain issues related to fertility, conception and assisted reproductive technologies (ART) for women and their partners.
identify contraceptive choices that are available and appropriate for individual women in the immediate and long-term following childbirth.
describe the role of the midwife in promoting optimal health for women across the life span through increasing health literacy levels, and collaboration and utilisation of community resources and service providers
