This unit contains laboratory activities and/or professional experience learning that require students to fulfil certain vaccination and compliance requirements prior to attending. Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
demonstrate evidence of achieving midwifery competency based upon the NMBA Midwife Standards for Practice including all practice requirements of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council [ANMAC]
assess, plan and implement safe midwifery care of women within their childbearing episode
critically reflect own performance when seeking employment
