Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
model evidence-based practice, professional communication, and laboratory skills in a professional medical laboratory setting
apply and adapt occupational health and safety protocols to diverse and challenging medical laboratory scenarios
critically self-reflect on workplace performance and experiences that demonstrate insight and inform actionable strategies for professional development
demonstrate competence in medical laboratory science in alignment with the Australian Institute of Medical and Clinical Scientists (AIMS) standards
