Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
utilise critical and analytical skills in researching and discussing audio-visual media forms
competently operate hardware and software including cameras, microphones, lighting equipment, and postproduction tools
demonstrate an understanding of historical and contemporary aesthetics in producing an audio-visual production
demonstrate organisational skills in pre- and postproduction procedures.

All students will need access to the Internet, with preferably a broadband connection (ADSL or Cable). Online students may need access to hardware and software for music video production, e.g. HD camera, lighting equipment, editing software.
