Unit description

Develops mathematical skills in the areas of Calculus and Linear Algebra, with topics including vectors, matrices, differentiation and integration. The emphasis in the unit is on developing further skills in Calculus and skills in Linear Algebra within an applied context, applying these to a range of applications.

Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. communicate mathematical ideas, processes and results effectively
