Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
Apply foundational descriptive statistical techniques to solve problems within business and/or economic contexts, and formulate data-informed, meaningful conclusions.
Utilise industry-standard spreadsheet and statistical software to generate graphical representations of data relevant to business and/or economic activity.
Apply digital literacy skills to analyse, interpret and communicate data and graphs to formulate evidence-based recommendations for business and/or economic activities, considering ethical and socio-economic factors.
Identify and reflect upon additional data and ethical considerations in order to adjust and enhance evidence-based recommendations for business and/or economic activities.
