    This is an intensive unit taught on-campus/online over 4 days. Class times and room details will be provided on the School of Law and Justice website and posted to the learning site. Students must be able to commit to the delivery mode before enrolling in this unit.


Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

demonstrate knowledge of the rules and principles underpinning the EU internal market

identify and compare the different branches of the EU and their complementary rules

describe the relationships between the four freedoms of the EU and the rules and principles underpinning the EU internal market

identify the rules used to solve conflicts in the EU8

demonstrate their research skills and critical analysis in the field of the EU.
