Learning outcomes

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
explain the core concepts and principles of torts law, including negligence, nuisance, trespass and defamation
identify legal issues and apply legal reasoning to develop justifiable responses to torts law problems
research and construct a sustained and persuasive legal argument
communicate effectively both orally and in writing for legal audience.
