Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
recognise the legal and theoretical framework within which modern contract law operates
identify material facts and relevant legal principles/case authorities and apply to hypothetical contract situations
formulate reasoned legal argument supported by appropriate legal principles/case authorities to show critical judgement in the resolution of contract disputes
discuss and analyse concepts relating to contract law using case law, statute and/or academic resources.
