Unit description

Investigates the Australian legal system’s capacity to deal justly with a critical range of moral, historical and political issues that arise from Aboriginal communities. Model litigant standards, including the exercise of proportionate power and a proper regard for justice and fair play, are examined in relation to the Commonwealth’s interactions with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
