Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
conduct digital investigations that are based on the accepted professional investigative process: identification, preservation, examination, analysis and reporting.
evaluate, choose and utilise appropriate tools to gather and analyse forensic data from a variety of sources.
assess and describe the results of a computer, network and/or data forensic analysis for audiences of both technical and managerial background.
interpret and appropriately apply the laws and procedures associated with identifying, acquiring, examining and presenting digital evidence.
