Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
examine the challenges of designing user-centred interactive experiences in a pervasive computing environment such as the Internet of Things.
analyse requirements and determine the appropriate activities, context, and multi-platform technologies for designing user experience for interactive Internet-of-Things systems.
apply appropriate methods and techniques to successfully design the user interface for interactive IoT systems that engage users.
evaluate and propose solutions to improve user experience of IoT applications.
