Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
provide documentation and rationale for using digital resources within interactive applications
describe how content, purpose and end users can impact on design of text, graphics, audio, video and interface elements
integrate function and aesthetics into user interfaces in accordance with cultural and contextual suitability
evaluate and determine screen layouts for user interfaces and content presentation to optimise the user experience
demonstrate the appropriate use of text, graphics, audio, video and interface elements to optimise the user experience
describe and utilise the important storage formats for text, graphics, audio and video
use appropriate hardware and software to capture, create and manipulate digital resources.
