Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
explain theoretical basic programming fundamentals
apply practical programming skills to solve engineering problems
apply fundamental programming concepts to solve basic computational problems
design, implement, and test simple programs to solve practical problems
apply standard conventions, such as orthogonal views, dimensions, tolerances, limits, and fits, when creating detailed engineering drawings while ensuring compliance with AS1100 standards
communicating engineering solutions using a widely recognised programming language.
