Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
demonstrate a broad understanding of a body of knowledge and theoretical concepts in the Bachelor of Indigenous Studies with advanced understanding in at least one aspect
demonstrate skills in critically reviewing, analysing and synthesizing knowledge in indigenous studies
demonstrate cognitive and technical skills in indigenous research
demonstrate written, verbal and other applicable communication skills to present a clear and coherent exposition of knowledge, and the capacity to disseminate findings in diverse contexts

create a thesis or research project that demonstrates research and design skills, critical thinking, initiative and judgement in developing new understanding
