Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
demonstrate an understanding about the relationships between organisation, management, employees and HR; especially with regards to the lack of evidence based HR
identify the selected individual, group and organisational factors affecting organisational performance and the role of HR. Discuss the theory behind power and influence, negotiation and mediation, and the overall impact upon organisational politics and the role of HR
demonstrate an understanding about the factors that affect change management, and conflict management and the role of HR
analyse the principles and concepts of organisational behaviour and the role of the human resource manager in fostering positive organisational behaviour.
