Unit description

Aims to develop an understanding of concepts, theory and worldview of culture. This is achieved by focusing specifically on developing students’ understanding of group, interpersonal, national, and international culture. This unit also examines the role of culture during organisational change.

Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. understand and be able to articulate the importance of organisational culture, power of the situation, and change for organisational performance

understand national culture and its influence on organisational culture, change, and performance

perform and interpret organisation cultural analyses

understand the basics of leadership for organisation cultural change.
