Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
identify and discuss the role of culture during the organisational change process
identify and discuss Hofstede's work on organisational groupings using Social Identify Theory and Organisational Behaviour Theory to provide insight into Hofstede's work
demonstrate an understanding about organisational learning theory and the propensity and importance of employees that exhibit innovative behaviour
identify methods and theory of diversity management and the implication this has on implementing change effectively
discuss international mobility, and globalisation convergence and divergence.
