Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

use their understanding of the current theories of stakeholder management to define the term “stakeholder” and to reflect on how current theories of stakeholder management can be applied in the workplace

draw on the theories around communication, motivation and commitment to identify key internal and external stakeholders in different business and/or community disputes and the factors motivating and affecting them

demonstrate an ability to utilise theories of conflict management to manage different stakeholders.
