Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

Examine principles of strategic pricing for customer buying behaviour in the hotel industry

Evaluate revenue management systems in hotels and links to big data analytics

Identify and interpret principles of customer/segment profit contribution

Evaluate and propose appropriate revenue management practices for driving profitability in hotel industry contexts
