Unit description

Allows future hotel leader to develop a property operations toolkit, through concepts and practices of full lifecycle operations management. Students will develop knowledge of property strategic operations in order to maximise productivity in hospitality organisations.

Unit content

This unit contains six modules:

1.   Introducing strategy in hotel management
2.   Strategic management tools
3.   Strategic management of hotel assets
4.   Strategic management in food and beverage
5.   Strategic management in rooms division
6.   Measuring performance in strategy management
