    Students will be expected to have completed and passed introductory units in business and/or tourism including accounting, marketing and management from School of Business and Tourism or similar units from other discipline areas or institutions


Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

describe theories of entrepreneurial supply and personality

apply concepts on innovation and creativity

compile a new venture business plan

create strategies to establish and grow a new venture

critique corporate entrepreneurship principles

discuss contemporary entrepreneurship issues.
