On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
demonstrate knowledge of festivals and special and mega events, their stakeholders, and their role in contemporary society.
identify and analyse the economic, environmental, socio-cultural and political dimensions of staging a festival, special or mega event
demonstrate the capability to conceive, design and plan a festival or special or mega event
demonstrate the knowledge and skills to reflect upon the challenges of staging a festival or special or mega event and how these challenges are managed.
