Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
comprehend and evaluate the role of festivals and special events in contemporary society
identify and discuss the various planning processes of the events industry and explore specific implications for event management
identify and analyse the economic, environmental, socio-cultural and political impacts associated with events and discuss the management of associated issues.
