Learning outcomes

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

demonstrate knowledge of the key elements in staging an event

identify and critically analyse the challenges involved in staging an event

demonstrate the capability to develop an event operations manual that addresses the goals and budget parameters of the event and its key stakeholders

demonstrate the knowledge and skills to reflect upon the challenges of staging a convention or event and how these challenges are managed.
