Unit description

Introduces students to the foundation principles and practices of accounting and finance for the hotel industry.  Students focus on how financial and management information is used for planning, measurement and control.

Learning outcomes

analyse financial reports and develop an appropriate response

analyse budgeting in a hospitality operation through collaborative reflection.
