Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

demonstrate knowledge of basic accounting and reporting methods in the hospitality industry

identify, compare and contrast the links between results in an accounting report and operating systems and procedures

demonstrate the capability to analyse financial reports and develop an appropriate response

Demonstrate the knowledge and skills to reflect upon budgeting in a hospitality operation.
