Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
Explore the hospitality workplace context by examining the sector structure and organisations' position within hospitality industries
Develop an understanding of the issues relating to the transition to the professional workplace, including workplace culture and professional practices
Demonstrate the ability to meet the professional requirements of the employment selection process, using appropriate resources
Identify areas of personal and professional skills development and create a portfolio to address the skills gap identified.
