Unit description

Investigates the basic legal concepts involved in sport. The unit addresses the legal rights and responsibilities of sporting organisations and all those involved in sport, whether they are acting in a paid or voluntary capacity.

Topic 2: Alternative dispute resolution in sport 
Topic 3: Sporting contracts and industrial relations in sport 
Topic 4: Legal issues in sport sponsorship and sport marketing 
Topic 5: Conduct of sporting tribunals 
Topic 6: Sport and civil liability 
Topic 7: Risk management and insurance 
Topic 8: Sport and criminal liability 
Topic 9: Drugs in sport 
Topic 10: Ethical considerations in sport 
Topic 11: Current issues in sport
