Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
explore the diagnosis, treatment and side effects of cancer treatment and impact on capacity to exercise
explore the spectrum of neurological health conditions and explore diagnosis, treatment and side effects that will impact capacity to exercise
develop assessment skills, exercise programming skills, and clinical reasoning for clients with oncology or neurological conditions
gain an understanding of the value of interprofessional practice, applying the principles to considering the broader healthcare needs of an oncology or neurological client
