Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
explore the healing process, treatment and exercise rehabilitation techniques for acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries
critically analyse, synthesise and apply knowledge of rehabilitation, return to play and injury prevention principles and concepts, using an evidence-based practice
autonomously and collaboratively, design and deliver safe, evidence-based exercise assessments and interventions for individuals with musculoskeletal disease or conditions, including risk management
utilise mentor guidance and clinical knowledge to effectively produce a report and engage in reflective practice
