Unit description

Explores the pathophysiology of common disease states, methods used in diagnosis, treatment and management, the concept of individualised medicine and the impact of disease states on a client's capacity to exercise. Additionally, explores the role and mechanisms of physical activity and exercise in reducing related risk factors and managing common disease states.
