Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
recognise scope of practice and commence the development of the core capabilities required for clinical exercise physiology practice
apply the fundamental principles of occupational rehabilitation used in the workplace and other settings
develop and demonstrate the technical skills to conduct an accurate and culturally appropriate exercise physiology client consultation and articulate the outcomes to the referring medical specialist
develop the cognitive skills to screen clients and conduct accurate health and fitness assessments
