1 evaluate characteristics of regional, rural and remote communities and types of barriers that can impact on effective implementation of allied health services in such contexts
2 examine concepts such as community engagement and capacity building; discrete, integrated and outreach services; comprehensive primary health care services and sustainable delivery
3 evaluate various health service models and applications for particular types of rural, regional and remote locations
4 critically appraise the viability of assessment and treatment options that incorporate telehealth, (such as Skype, phone, internet and videoconferencing sites) to address the needs of allied health in rural, regional and remote settings
5 design an allied health intervention program and outcome measurement strategy using telehealth for people living in rural, regional and remote settings
6 evaluate the extent to which allied health services in rural regional and remote settings incorporate intercultural competence and inter-professional practice
7 analyse ways to influence policy for allied health in regional, rural and remote settings.
