1 explain the cognitive/mental processes that affect learning and functional performance
2 discuss characteristics of cognitive impairments impacting on the occupational performance in children and adults with neurological, developmental, learning or mental health disorders.
3 develop evidence based intervention principles and strategies that include those used by a range of professionals as well as those specific to occupational therapists
4 design and implement occupational therapy programs that are client-centred and occupation-embedded to address the impact of cognitive impairment on everyday task performance for people with impairments and their families
5 critically analyse major theoretical frameworks influencing assessment and intervention of cognition
6 analyse and report how perceptual deficits impact task performance in individuals with traumatic brain injury
