Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
demonstrate basic knowledge of human embryology
describe the four body tissue types and identify from images at the cellular level
describe organ systems and their tissues at a microscopic level
explain the relationship between the structure and function of selected human body systems
demonstrate competency in tissue processing and microscopy by employing practical and effective laboratory skills
