Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
describe cellular changes that occur in various normal adaptive processes and in abnormal or disease processes
describe selected genetic and congenital disorders
explain neoplasia and its role in carcinogenesis, using specific examples
describe the pathophysiology of selected disease states of the gastrointestinal, respiratory, endocrine, cardiovascular, nervous, musculoskeletal and renal systems
