Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
discuss the relationship between diet and optimum health
discuss the role of the individual, community, industry, government and private agencies in promoting health
compare and contrast a range of factors which influence the availability and selection of food
analyse global and Australian societal contemporary food issues
plan food solutions for specific purposes.
