This should be the last unit of study in the Associate Degree of Engineering. Associate Degree students need to demonstrate 30 days of relevant experience to graduate.
Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
design a program of investigation to address a well-defined engineering problem for a tender
produce detailed costing and work schedules for a tender
develop a skills and competency matrix for a team that incorporates diverse cultural and Indigenous perspectives to meet the tender requirements
identify and evaluate emerging trends and issues as part of a tender.
