design a section of highway including the geometrical and pavement design
design a subdivision including the layout, roads, drainage, water reticulation and sewerage systems using relevant Australian Standards and codes of practice
identify contextual factors and constraints to design problems and find solutions to overcome them using established engineering methods
use relevant computer software to aid in the design of roads and subdivisions
interpret and ensure that a subdivision design complies with the relevant legislation and statutory requirements
