    This unit includes undertaking a project within a community/school. Students MUST provide evidence of compliance for all placement requirements prior to attending professional placement. Students must comply with the vaccination requirements of placement providers. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in a fail grade. Full details are available at www.scu.edu.au/education/education-profession/professional-experience/ Bachelor of Education students must complete all first year units (96CP) prior to enrolling in this unit to meet NESA Accreditation requirements.


Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

critically interrogates theoretical underpinnings and the science behind a range of local and global issues

work scientifically and technologically seeking solutions to local/global ecological issues

engages in collaborative research within the community seeking solutions to local/global ecological issues
