Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

3 demonstrate effective teaching and learning strategies, based on a range of current pedagogical frameworks
4 demonstrate and apply knowledge of syllabus key competencies and cross curriculum content (including Aboriginal perspectives, teaching students from non-English speaking backgrounds, and ICT)
5 apply an understanding of aspects of curriculum differentiation in order to meet the diverse needs and cultural backgrounds of learners, and to engage students in active learning
6 critically engage with a range of issues in teaching Visual Arts and assess the appropriateness of resources (including ICT) that link to informed and effective teaching and learning across the Visual Arts Years 7-10 syllabi

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
