Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
relate key issues and debates in gender and sexuality to their social and cultural contexts in contemporary society
critically evaluate how gender and sexuality are constructed in culture, society and the media
clearly and coherently explain articulate the impact of gender and sexuality on the life worlds of individuals and society through constructive and scholarly oral and written discussion
critically analyse different socio-legal, political and cultural viewpoints and arguments on a particular topic related to gender and sexuality.
