These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
differentiate BIM's principles and technological basics
evaluate the interoperability of BIM software products and differentiate standardised data formats
analyse the organisational and legal aspects of BIM-based collaboration
integrate BIM methodologies and tools in various life-cycle phases of a built facility by evaluating real-world case studies and practical BIM projects
create advanced BIM models using point cloud and AI technologies
