Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
demonstrate an understanding of the use of engineering materials and technology, and stakeholder participation to develop solutions to solve humanitarian problems
demonstrate an ability to apply logical thinking and develop creative, alternative solutions to problems by adapting knowledge and skills considering contextual factors such as social and cultural needs, sustainability, ethical and professional accountability
reflect on and explain ideas, concepts and processes to stakeholder audiences
obtain, manage and use information for the purposes of developing knowledge and applying it to humanitarian projects
critically evaluate the benefits and challenges of working as a member of a team and with stakeholders
