Unit description

Provides students with the opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge within the context of a range of operational Clinical Exercise Physiology facilities. Additionally the time spent should contribute to the required work experience for accreditation with ESSA as an Exercise Physiologist.

Unit content

  • Professional practice: students will attend and participate in clinical placements whereby they will engage in professional practice under the supervision of Accredited Exercise Physiologists or other qualified Allied Health Practitioners as deemed appropriate in the administration of client care.
  • Students will be required to engage in interprofessional practice and also reflect upon their experiences at each placement with a focus on their personal performance and development.
