Unit description

Assists students to develop their own professional identity in a business related field. Part one covers practical job search skills, resumé writing and interview skills. In part two, students evaluate the role of personality, values, ethics and other key aspects of organisational behaviour in the contemporary workplace.

Topic 5: Opportunity awareness – Understanding the world of work (field trip/industry panel)

Topic 9: Contemporary issues in leadership
Topic 10: Power, politics and influence
Topic 11: Experiential learning for internship and/or graduate careers

Learning outcomes
