Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

Evaluate the relevance of sustainability as a primary goal of business.

Apply the new models of sustainable business to transform conventional business organisations into sustainable organisations.

Apply the sustainability paradigm to the traditional business functions of marketing, HRM, accounting, economics, supply chain management and management strategy.

Evaluate organisational performance against relevant sustainability benchmarks.

Develop creative solutions to remove causes of unsustainability.
