Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
describe and critically appraise the role of a financial planner
describe the range of financial services provided by a financial planner
explain the importance of the financial planner-client relationship
develop appropriate financial planning strategies for a range of clients
Recommend various types of investment products for inclusion in a client wealth building strategy
advise client's on their exposure to investment and financial risk
outline and explain the taxation, legal and ethical framework which financial planners operate within.
