Unit description

Introduces management theory and the changing role of business in society. Through various experiential activities, students will develop an applied understanding of business practice and sustainability, including the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The unit also develops students' professional identity and communication and collaboration skills.

Module 3: Organisation – structures, goals and ways of doing business

Module 4: Industry ecosystems – the interconnected nature of business activity

Module 5: Community – business practice and impacts at a local level

Learning outcomes

describe the context of business and the role that various stakeholders play
